Hello my little ones,
How exciting! A new school year. New supplies, new clothes, seeing old friends, it is a lovely time,
isn’t it? A little bit sad though? Do you think that your family camping fun is over for the year? Well,
it doesn’t have to be. There are loads of places that your parents might take you for week-end
getaways this Fall and maybe even in the winter. Your camping experience might be a bit different
during these seasons though. Maybe a little more inside time than during the summer months but, isn’t
that just nice and cosy? All snuggley-buggley in your RV, playing games, watching movies, reading
books. Didn’t you miss campfires this summer? They were just too dangerous but, maybe, you’ll be
able to start having them again in a few weeks.
My grandchildren love to come to visit in October because they know that we’ll get to bring out the board games
that I stash away for rainy days and longer nights. You might want to show your parents this list and, if you don’t
already have some of the games here, maybe they could stock up? So, enjoy your Fall and Winter, make the most of
your family fun time! TTFN….
