 This past Winter Rose and I stole
away for a week down to Palm Springs
and Quartzsite. For years we have listened
to our Snowbird customers, with envy, on
the wonders of spending a few months
down South each year. Well as luck
would have it there just happened to be
an RV show taking place in January so
off we went! Now we understand that
normally one could enjoy Sunshine
and temperatures in the 20-30 degrees
Celsius.....however we were met with
torrential downpours, flooding and strong
winds including a “Tornado Warning”
with winds strong enough to blow 3
Tractor trailers off the Highway and into
the ditch on the sides, in the course of
about 15 miles. Yet amazingly enough
we still had a great time! What a sight to
see... literately thousands of RVer’s parked
out on the desert dry camping, and huge
markets with everything imaginable
available. We will return, hopefully next
time in the warm sunshine.
This Spring we are very pleased to
announce new Partnerships with the
leaders in RV Manufacturing. We have

RV’ing for our customers on the Island.
The 2010 Olympics have very
successfully showcased our great country,
with many visitors taking in our beautiful
Island and although the Island has
weathered the recent financial turmoil
extremely successfully it is nice to hear
that the Canadian economy has stabilized
and that the RV industry is back, perhaps
stronger than ever.
Canada is truly “strong and free”
and an absolute gem to be enjoyed while
RV’ing. So what are you waiting for??
