I am writing this issue’s President Message while camping on the Beach at beautiful Port Renfrew. Although the sun is being somewhat evasive this Father’s Day weekend I am basking in the warmth of Family and Friends. Over 40 of us have all gathered (including 9 fathers, 23 kids and 8 dogs) to celebrate not only Fathers Day and the ending of another school year but also our bond of Friendship. From beach walks, gathering special pieces of driftwood and shells, kids swimming (brrr!!), watching Grey Whales perform just a couple of hundred feet off the shoreline and bocce ball tournaments in the sand to evening campfire sing-alongs complete with s’mores, each moment is treasured.
I am once again, first hand, reminded of the wonderful memories and bonds that are formed while RV’ing. It is an activity that is Truly Priceless on one hand and Totally Affordable on the other.
