Roada's on the road again folks and this time she paid a visit to the lovely Salmon Point Resort. This is truly a vacationing experience for the whole family just minutes from Campbell River!
Let me tell you this one has it all form a marina to 155 Full Hook –up RV sites, Heated Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi. Free Hot Showers, a Laundromat, Rec Hall, Fishing Charters or if you are adventurous they also offer Boat Rentals. Plus…They have a lovely Waterfront Restaurant and Pub should you wish to have a night off from preparing and cooking. We sauntered along oceanside trails, Oh Yes Indeedy, we did dig for those clams.
We then rented one of their 14 available boats for fishing with 15 Hp and caught ourselves a lovely salmon. We decided with Dinner in hand we would then take a lovely little sightseeing adventure on the Georgia Strait .
When we got back in and had our lovely Salmon feed we simply sat back and watched the bald eagles soar overhead. Later that evening we saw 3 cruise ships glide on past us with the amazing snow-capped coastal mountains in the background. With 28 acres of treed and open beachfront, the most spectacular views of Georgia Strait, Coastal Mountains & Desolation Sound that one could ever imagine, all waiting for you to discover and explore.
