10/20 Grape Harvest Ball
Grape stomp, great local food, fresh oysters from Cortez Island, Salt Spring Wine and Gulf Islands beer, at Fulford Hall. Benefit for the Peace School in Mozambique, a school for orphans of AIDS and a parent and child program on Salt Spring. Live music, great fun.

Tofino has designated November Oyster Month!! This high buzz event features oyster culinary delights diligently prepared by Chefs from local restaurants, sampling of exceptional regional wines, enjoy fabulous music, and partake in the renowned Slurping contest. Each year about 4,000 oysters were consumed during the evening.

Welcome to Christmas town when hundreds of artists and crafters descend upon the Oceanside Region to participate in a variety of craft fairs taking place this November. 13th Annual Kris Kringle Craft Market This is a one-of-a-kind juried art and crafts show nestled in the beautiful Town of Qualicum Beach, featuring over 120 talented and creative artists and craftspeople from all over BC at the most beautifully decorated Christmas show. See us at the Civic Centre.

The “Original” and longest running 28th Annual Village Christmas Craft Faire located in the Qualicum Beach Community Hall. Here you will find outstanding exhibits by local award winning artisans. Chose from hand-blown glass and pottery to quilting, jewellery, and everything in between. Friday 11am-8pm, Sat. 10am – 6pm & Sun 10am-4pm. Admission is free.

This travelling exhibition features more than 275 artifacts recovered from Titanic’s undersea resting place in a series of galleries that trace the life of the “unsinkable” ship – from its design and construction through to its discovery, recovery and conservation. The Royal BC Museum is the first venue in Western Canada to present this assembly of artifacts collected by RMS Titanic Inc., the only company in the world authorized to recover artifacts from the Titanic wreck site. RMS Titanic Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions Inc.

9/22Fort Rodd Hill Annual Lantern Tour
Historic re-enactors portray different periods from the fort’s past for this very special after-hours event. Small groups leave with a guide every 15 minutes beginning at 7:00 pm for a 75 minute tour. Price: $10.00 per ticket which must be purchased in advance and are limited to a total of 120. Time: From 7:00pm Location: Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site of Canada
