Book Review

|
I was contacted last fall by Janie Maximick an author from Comox,
who asked if I might be interested in receiving and reading a book (fiction) that she had written. I happily obliged and within a week I had received “Spreading Wings in Paradise” .
Just as Janie had promised, her book delivered humor and romance all wrapped in a delightful, quick read novel, which I easily managed to complete over the course of a weekend.
The main subject “Christie” along with her trusted Yorkie Pup are on the road and in search of a new beginning, which is discovered in “Paradise”, an RV Park nestled on the banks of the Colorado River.
As the days pass Christie is
exposed to the hilarious antics of the
colorful characters residing in the Park, forms new friendships and once again finds herself opening her heart to the possibility of romance.
This book offers the rollicking tour of the magical and frequently frustrating often rocky road to romance.
I found it to be most entertaining and a good read from start to finish.
High Praise to Janie on her first novel.
I look forward to the second!
